Can anyone confirm this

I am looking to delete my a/c unit as i never use it even when it is really hot out the question is by deleting the a/c unit will that mean my heater wont work or is this 2 separate units i am dealing with here

what do you mean by delete your A/C unit? just taking off the compressor and lines? pulling the whole box out of the dash? pulling the controls from your dash?

First off, I wouldnt do it.

Second, unless you completely hack the wiring, box, and the controls, then yes the heater will still work.

I want to pull out the compressor and replace the unit on the pulley system with just a pulley I never use the a/c at all just the heat in the winter. Ill most likley just keep all the parts in the car so it would just be the compressor and lines

then yes the heater should still work if you only take that off, but like 3rdgenmaro said i wouldn't do it
