Obviously not
Knock sensor doesn't make any noise ;
is just a device to tells the computer that the engine is knocking so it can adjust the timing

What you have is " engine knock"; the engine is pre-igniting under load due to bad timing / bad fuel
could be many things

There is no error code for IAC faults

Lifters can't ping.
You have detonation problems in the cylinders ( worst when engine hot)
Timing is out , cr*p gas ,engine temp too hot ; could be one or all those or other problems
Start with the basics by setting timing

Even with a 160 thermo? And how would I change the fans temp turnon time?

you would have to burn or get another chip burned. you could always buy the hypertech fan switch tho.http://thmotorsports.com/i-296854.as...ingSeanVehSpec

it installs between #6&8 cylinder (passenger side)

Re: knock ping sensor

this is not going to fix your pinging issue. you need to lower your timing
