alternator prob....
I put the positive conn wires on the rear bolt that goes in the alternator, the bolt came out, and now it won't go back in!!! Alternator was rebuilt last mid summer, bolt is not stripped. Just seeing if anyone has any info or suggestions. Any help is greatly apreciated! Its an 84 T/A with 305 H.O.

Re: alternator prob....
you will have to take the alternator halves apart and
reinstall the nut on the end of the output stud-an
alternator shop can do this or you can do it yourself if
so inclined-pretty easy, but certain precautions should
be taken to avoid damage to brushes or stator winding.
I f you want to do repair yourself,i can give more
specific details
