Running rich, need help.
I took my car through a parade a week ago. Ever since then, the car runs incredibly rich at idle, enough so to stall unless I heavily feather the throttle. Above 3000 it runs like a raped ape still. Also, the car has a smooth tone at idle and decelleration whereas it should honestly be lopey/choppy. Am I looking at a distributor issue? I have a timing light - going to check advance later this evening I think if I can keep it running. Spark plugs were new just before the parade, but I guess they could still have gotten fouled up. I don't think it's them since it still runs great up top though. Any ideas?

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Assuming your running a 305 TPI motor, sounds like a possible stuck FPR or clogged injector.

It's actually a carb'd 350. I'm going to check out the fuel today and get back with results.
