bigger dual valve springs for 488 cam ?

Am I going to need dual coil valve springs for 488 comp cam part number 08_501_8 or can I just buy new single coil springs to prevent modifying the heads for the dual coil valve springs ?

You could spend an extra $100 and go with beehive springs if you wanted. Maybe even these LS2/LS3/LS6 springs:

Will require some cleverness and attention to detail to get the installed height and spring pressures balanced but it's more than doable.

you could just get some upgraded springs, i don't think you would need double wound springs
