I lost the chip that goes in here and now can't get my car started
Ok so the guy told me it's some kind of anti theft device. Is this the VATS? I couldn't load a picture to find out what the VATS was. There is this small chip size of maybe a quarter or so that goes in here and without it I can't start the car. So I was pulling it out everytime I parked my car in the driveway. Now I lost it. So is there anyway I can by pass this? BTW it's a 92 z28 350tpi 5spd manual transmission.

What a pain in the butt, I got it out and got the car started. My car goes for paint tomorrow too. Would've sucked if I couldn't get it started to bring it to the shop Thanks for the help guys!

Now ya gotta find the missing key or start tracing wires to figure out how to uninstall it. I don't envy you!
