Schrader valve . Is the same as the valve that holds air in your tires
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrader_valve
Remove the valve and install a replacement.May have to clean the valve seat , may be rust or cr*p there
preventing valve fom sealing
Must have a Viton seal to be fuel proof , not a reg valve as used for our tires
Local parts shop should have it

If the fuel pressure test port isn't cracked around the outside, the "Air valve" need to be replace assuming no one has cross threaded it in, or used the wrong valve, and yes that's exactly what it is. just like the ones used for wheels and even the A/C system for freon charging. They are called Schrader valves.

I don't think the stock fuel pump can over pressure the Schrader valve.

it will be very tiny , you only have to replace the inards , they should be able to supply you with a tool for easy removal /instalation.

The band on a fuel used Schrader I believe is white the same as ones used in a/c systems.
