breaking in new cam xe262???

Hi
I understand that you run the engine about 2500 rpm for 30 minutes. But how do you check if all is aligned and good/right?

If you're speaking about your valve timing, u'd know if the cam was out of time. It'd be misfiring. Other than that I'm not quite sure what you mean.

I would imagine the adjusment they're meaning is if you didn't time it right and had a miss. Unless there's something I don't know about. I've never professed to be a cam expert lol

There's nothing to adjust. If the cam is ground correctly and the sprocket marks are lined up, that's as good as it's ever going to be.

You can use a degree wheel to degree the cam before you finish assembling everything if you like.

No problem man. Much agreed, better to ask than to hack. Good luck
