IROC values and mis information

Sorry about the typo in the title!

I'm looking to pick up an IROC (87-89) and was wondering how much I should expect to pay. The features I am looking for are:
  • L98
  • Manual
  • Straight body
  • Clean title
  • Tranny and engine operating properly
I plan on replacing all the belts, plugs, filters, fluids, wires, and such no matter the condition of the vehicle so I don't care if these are in poor shape. I also plan on repainting any vehicle I get assuming I don't find a car with mint condition paint that I just love. The interior can be bad, I have no issue putting in a new headliner, carpet kit, and seat covers. The one big question I have, and I ask because I cant seem to find a straight answer online, do the irocs of these years have T-Tops as an option? If not, what is the latest year that does.

Second part of this post is asking about the value of my current car. I have an 86 Firebird with the 2.8L V6 with an automatic. I performed a full tune up so everything up front that needed replacing has been replaced. New starter, alternator, tires, struts, shocks, brakes, and hatch/hood lifters. The paint is veryyy clean though there is minor chipping on the spoiler. Brand new exhaust system with chrome tips. She runs really well and shifts flawlessly. There is a dent in the drivers side fender that requires the fender to be replaced to fix. Though that dent drives me insane, the paint is intact inside the dent so nobody else seems to care. It has T-Tops that do not leak. Only 130k original miles.

Your firebird id say is worth about 2000-3000 at most, as to my knowledge the l98 only came with an auto trans unless someone swapped it,87-89 Irocs did come with ttop option, In my area you can find a clean iroc decent miles interior and body for about 4k.

Thanks! I was thinking around 2500-2750 for mine so I was right on. I can put in a new trans later if that's the case, I can live with an automatic. 4k was the price point I was thinking of so I'm on track.
