Top end problems
Have 1987 Chevy Camaro and built 383 motor. 11.1 compression products. 64 chamber heads. Holley dominator highrise intake. 750 demon dp. hydraulic tap cam specs: lift 502 intake; 238 exhaust. exhaust lift 516 intake; 244 exhaust. RPM range 3250 - 6750. Auto transmission w/3500 stall 410 gears. Tire size 28" ET drag.
Car ran 12.48 @ 113mph in 1/4 mile fresh off the motor. Car started slowing down since. Car now runs 13.18 consistent. Car crossed traps at no more than 5200 RPMs in 3rd gear. Is this a cam problem? what's caused the slow down?

Re: Top end problems
A leak down test is pressurizing the cylinder with shop air and watching how much pressure it looses. Tells you if you have a leaking valve or bad rings or whatever.
Also have you checked the adjustment on the valves? Maybe now that its broken in something loosened up?
