Hi guys, so if you have read any of my previous posts you probably know that I am trying to plan an engine build, and right now I'm looking for some dress up inspiration. I have a basic idea of what parts I want to be on it and what I want it to look like. Since a 305 and a 350 have the same block, I plan on making my engine look as close to stock as possible, with a few pretty touches of my own. Go ahead and post yours up, and enjoy browsing through others' builds!


Here's mine right now, this was taken way back in June 2011.
L03 V8, all original, although I did repaint the air cleaner lid and did some cleaning up.

By your screen name, is that a 572? I can't make out the heads, are those AFR BBC Heads? Have you ran it at the track?

Sorry for late reply, thirdgen for some reason does not send me emails anymore about post. Heads are RFD (Race Flow Development), it is actually a 565. Was originally going to build a 572 but the rod ratio is better with a 565.
No have not run it at the track.

i fabbed it myself. it's a prototype. been meaning to make a nicer one out of aluminum. it's on my to do list.
IDK if it added any power, but it made the car run a little cooler. heres a few more pics.
