thinking about adding a chip to my 305 TBI.. is a stage 1 or 2 chip worth it? whats better hyper tech or jet? has anyone done either ?

What else has been done to the car? Don't bother with a chip until you do other mods.

 

nothing at the moment, the car isn't even on the road, its being built.. so probably headers mild cam, smog delete, k&n filter to come

thank you that is what i was looking for.. is weird that dyno sheets from JET for these camaros add 15-20 hp only from 2 degree of positive timing.

 

The sellers have a product to move ,the test results they achieve under "optimum" conditions you most likely will not see in the real world.
If you did there, according to the sellers ,there is 200hp to be gained with $20 bolt-ons from eBay

 

once you get the car built, I would get a custom chip cut from Brian, who is here on the boards. He can make accomodations for fuel/altitude/mods, etc. He does good work.
