1985 305 MFI driving problems, don't know what to do next...

hello, i have a 1985 camaro with a 305 MFI backed with a 5 speed manual, with cruise control (not sure if it makes a difference) I'm having issues with acceleration/drivability, once the car has warmed up and i have driving say 30 to 40 miles in either city or freeway. the car starts to lose power dramatically and won't allow me to go father then 2000 to 2500. but if i try to push it at all it will just not respond and its if the engine is having a fit, won't rev up, no power, car jerks, and seem like it wants to stall but still remains idling does this with it out of gear and with the clutch disengaged as well.
I've had to pull over several times to check it out, if it stalls which sometimes does it will start right up again.

I've been trying to work with the TPS system, gone threw a few tps sensors so far, even disconnected the harness from the ecm and checked for resistance but didn't find nothing out of the ordinary. Also i haven't noticed the engine light flashing for codes, sometimes it comes on and some times it does not come on.

things i have done recently,

plugs
wires
TPS (tuned to .54v)
checked harness for breaks or damage
removed and cleaned ecm plugs with brake clean
fuel pump
ignition/key
wires/battery cables
cleaned throttle body
ran injector cleaner threw (made no noticeable difference)

at this point and time I'm out of ideas don't know where to start so if there is anyone who has had a problem like this id really appreciate the help.

It sounds like the classic fuel starvation issue.
I don't know the "MFI" in particular, but have you changed all fuel filters?

Had a similar issue on my TPI with several leaking injectors and a shot cat. Your timing may also be way off.

That sure sounds like a clogged cat-converter to me. With many ( NOT ALL ) clogged cats you can bang on them with the heel of your hand and hear broken pieces of element bounce around inside.

I'd agree with the clogged cat diagnosis IF he didn't say he has to drive several miles before the problem rears its head.
I'm still saying fuel supply.

i have changed the main fuel filter inline from the tank, is there another one? how can i time the engine, is there a say base mode i put the engine in to time it with out it trying to advance and retard while in the timing process?
i don't have a cat the last owner removed all the emissions off the car. what i know i don't have is a smog pump, egr valve, cat. i only have a charcoal container.(not sure what that does)

Have you actually solved your problem? If not, there's only the inline filter and a kind of "sock" inside the tank on the fuel pump... except if you have a mechanical pump or the sorts, then this doesn't necessarily apply.
Timing is usually checked when the engine idles at operating temperature.
You need a timing light, which you connect to your cyl1 ignition cable and the battery.
The EST connector needs to be disconnected before checking and adjusting, otherwise you only worsen the problem.
There should be more detailed descriptions around, though.

Check this one for timing instructions:
https://www.thirdgen.org/settingtiming

Step 2 describes the EST connector. When your engine is running at operating temperature and you pull that connector apart, you should notice an audible decrease in engine idle speed and your SES light should come on.
You can then loosen the distributor clamp bolt a bit and turn the distributor until your timing light lines up with the mark on the crankshaft pulley, according to the timing values on your underhood sticker.
