3inch 1pc Crank into 2pc block???

I have a left over 3in 1pc crank from my L99(4.3 V8) and have two non-roller cam 2pc 350 blocks laying around, I know they make an adaptor kit to put a 2pc crank into a 1pc block....would this kit work but just the other way around? Just a random question/thought I had today.

I've seen it done the other way- adapting a 2-piece RMS crank into a one piece block, but I don't recall seeing a swap the other way.

Here's an old Hot Rod article about it:

Yeah I was out messing around and tried to put the crank in place, wasn't fitting in the back end right.
