Ok honestly is there any way I can still run EGR with this setup??

Ok I have a pair of '89 L98 Aluminum cylinder heads. I want to put them on my 305/TBI engine but I still want to run my EGR setup because I have to pass the sniffer test. Is there anyway maybe I can run the Corvette external style EGR maybe or will the SES light come on if I was to just leave the EGR valve hooked up to the vaccum line but not to the manifold?? please does anyone have any ideas

What you need to do is fabricate an external tube a la Vette, but you can't use the Vette system directly.

I'm not completely familiar with the TBI manifold, but if like a carb type, you need to tap a fitting into the cross-over passage in the intake that feeds the EGR valve, similarly tap the exhaust, and run a tube between them. An insulating sleeve over the finished product is a good idea.
