well got my cheap dash pad that was supposed to have very slight damage but due to sorta crappy packaging and UPS it um well yeah. box was slightly bent. took the pad out of the box and it looks like someone stepped right in the center of the dash. also one of the corners cracked. its better than the previous one i bought. either way im going to repair it and flock it. i like the look and wont be any glare on the windshield.
mounted filters, routed lines, installed driveshaft. tried to install my control arms but holes wouldnt line up. also realized my control arms have 2 different type of ball joints. oh and my cat likes to help.
Changed my diff fluid today. It was leaking and I am not sure how many miles since the posi was installed. It looks like a year on the gear and it looks like 1987? I used a Fel-Pro gasket and no sealer. Fel-Pro does not recommend using sealer with their gaskets so we will see how it goes.
took a bunch of useless wiring out of the dash harness. think i found out how im goin to mount my holley screen. buddy pick up a headliner for me while he was at the junkyard. such a pain to find these lately. its got some damage but at least i have one now.
I spent $10 replacing seven feet of missing or decayed vacuum hose, and a tee. And, presto! My A/C selector works! And, presto! My cruise control works!
The remains of an aftermarket radiator-fan temperature sensor, and a rotten vacuum line.
Why, yes, you can in fact see through it.

Fixed my a little too low hanging exhaust and a cracked weld on the manifold.
Finished my master cylinder brace.
And upgraded to brighter LEDs on my Rr view, since i have no dome light.
tryin to figure out how to mount up my holley screens. the 7" will be mounted as shown and then i think the little 3.5" will mount under the center vents. goin to cut out a plate at work to mount everything. dont mind the missing vent. im looking for that one and the passenger side one.
i wish the gauge cluster in these was an actual rectangle. and not this odd shape.
yeah shes a funny one. she adopted me pretty much. no idea where she came from but one day she showed up in my house and hasnt left. she is always climbing around when im workin on the car.
side note got my new intake today. this one should fit better for the hood i wanna make. just tryin to decie if i wanna blast it and have it painted/powder coated silver or leave it black. to me its kinda too much black. or maybe blast it and clear over the raw aluminum? i dunno.
ran some more wiring behind the dash. installed some dash speakers. threw the dash in. finally figured out where to mount my holley ecu. need to hook up some more wiring. hate wiring. no matter how much i try to run everything ahead of time i always forget something.
Put on a set of Taylor cut to length plug wires to replace my mismatched AutoZone set. Also installed some looms and really cleaned it up. Then I installed a new mech fuel pump, and reset my FPR. And lastly dropped in a heavier step up spring on the edlebrock 1406. Changed out stock springs for 8 in/hg springs. My vac at idle is 21 in hg.
more and more wiring. finally mounted my intake. installed throttle cable, mounted my coil packs. threw my a/c box back in to check clearance. still got soo much to do.
i stole my radiator back from my buddies shop yesterday since he kept just pushing it further back in his shop and covering it with stuff and decided to cut things and make block off plats to make it a dual pass.
Picked up some ls1 front and rear brakes for my Trans Am. I got the rear backing plates and mounting brackets blasted and powdercoated. Going to start the calipers soon!
picked up a brand new super cheap a/c compressor yesterday. installed it today. dont mind the duct tape on the radiator hose. i pieced two together so i can go to the autozone tomorrow and try to find one.
