cylinder fire issues
cylinder fire issues
2007 Pontiac g6 4 cylinder, third cylinder not firing, replaced plugs/swapped plugs, checked and swapped coils,checked wiring, checked and swapped fuel injectors/checked wiring, problem stays with that one cylinder, looked down at the piston head, looks like a lot of carbon build up and a little sludgy. the other cylinder heads are not sludgy but do have carbon build up, could the intake be that dirty causing this issue ?
Re: cylinder fire issues
This is a forum dedicated to 1982 through 1992 Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird cars only . Your best bet would be to find a forum that deals with your type of car and ask there . As a generalized statement I will say , "sludged up and wet" is not a good sign and I'll bet a compression check is gonna tell you all kinds of bad things about that sludgy cylinder . Good Luck with it .......

In your other post yesterday about the same off topic car , I posted the above response . Now I promise you , you can post in every sub forum on the page and the answer will still be the same ;
