383 v 383

looking at a newer stronger engine and although like the 408,s ,427,s these guys can build better motor than me.. and turn key no more worries.

i have nowhere to build a motor and am not a pro but have no issues maintaining it.

It all comes down to what i need ,, a good car to drive and a strip car 2 nights a month..

1 this good engine

Re: 383 v 383

Please consider including Blueprint engines and/or ATK into your decision matrix. Both companies dyno test prior to shipment. If you're a Veteran? Blueprint has a unpublished 10% discount!!!!

Re: 383 v 383

nice motors but budget is $6500 U.S dollars.pluss freight and taxes..it will run into $7500 as is...love the shafiroff,,and sunset but in reality the GM383 is pretty good for the money,, 4.00 X 3.80 stroke...all pretty dependible american internals also.

i wont get into chinese cranks and rods..thsts another story...i am focused on a dependable $6500 engine..

Make sure they can ship to Australia

Do you not have a good builder in your area? You have a good auto scene
