Car: 1988 GTA Trans am 1 owner since new
Engine: 383 built
Transmission: 1995 camaro t56 6 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.24 posi 9 bolt
need help question?
I have a 88 gta tpi 305 t5 .
I have headers and I get starter solenoid heat soak for over 2 years it makes me insane
So I made my own kit copting it from the gm on from tough stuff
I made the whole kit I went to local store got a external solenoid and wired the whole thing yesterday
now I started it 3 times let it warm up and it ran fine didn't move though
today I washed it in driveway went to drive it and I started it and it runs mega rich sputtering and stalling idel looping going crazy
I didn't relaze in the instructioin in the relay box it says do not use on a computer controlled vehicle will damage computer etc etc it needs to have a diode to supress the voltage I just got the diode hooked it up and still did nothing
no engine light on either running in the driveway
this car ran perfectly always
I time in its life before it did this and the ecu was bad
and 1 other time it was a bad o2 sensor
it could be also a bad mass air flow meter which is orig,
do you think that I blew my computer or the chip or o2 sensor??
I just put a new o2 in it 2 years ago when I got the headers.

I got a new o2 sensor and didn't fix it
I also got a engine light code 33
I think its my mass air flow
my tpi wiring is fine I just checked
so does anyone know how to test it for sure
