borescope for inspecting gas tank during fuel pump replacement?
Has anybody used a borescope to inspect the inside of the gas tank during fuel pump replacement?
Does enough light get into the tank, when the pump assembly and bung is removed, that you can just as well shine a flashlight, and get a pretty good idea of the condtion of the inside of the tank?

You don't need a borescope...plenty of room to see in there with a flashlight and a inspection mirror.

You just need to look in there for the most part, if there's not a bunch of crap in the bottom you probably don't even need to look in there with a mirror.
I've just used my smart phone to take pictures inside the tank with the flash on.

If you want to use a borescope, nothing wrong with that, most of them have a built-in light. But yeah, with the pump out, you can just kinda look down in there, and see all around inside with a mirror.
