Oil Fill Cap

Just did an oil change on my third gen camaro, its an 89 tbi 305 v8. Went to put oil FILL cap on and its stripped, I can tighten it down a little bit with a little pressure it will come out. Any suggestions? Will it hold?

Re: Oil Fill Cap

Not sure if it will hold, sounds like you need a new one. Call your local auto parts store. Junkyard any sbc with center bolt valve covers.
