Re: My carv will not start.
Car was running well, until I get home and then 10 minutes later, I tried to head out and all I get is No SES, The VATS lights up for a second then I turn the key and nothing, the fuel pump does prime, but no crank, not sure what to do*

the easiest spot to check to see if it’s the vats killing the starter enable relay is at the relay itself.
the relay is under the drivers side kick panel.

Always best to start troubleshooting with a full batt.
And yeah if it still doesn't crank jumper out the starter enable relay and if it cranks..... you have a VATS issue. If it still doesn't crank you have other problems such as battery cable, starter, ignition switch, etc.

Re: My carv will not start.
On your starter you will have a small wire terminal. Connect a 12 vdc test light to it, other side to ground, turn ignition switch to start. If test light turns on, ignition switch and circuit is good. Next, with ignition off, jump the 2 large terminals of the starter with either a screw driver or a large jumper wire. The engine should crank over but not start. If it does not crank over, starter or starter relay is bad.
