I've heard that intellitronix gauges are trash. Parts of the digital lights fade.

Re: Gauges????

Why will a stock 145 not work in a '91? If it is a pulse-count issue, that can be resolved fairly easily.

+1. I don't understand. My 86 has a 145 speedo and it works just fine. What's different about a 91 speed sensor signal?

Re: Gauges????

You might be thinking FB. 86 camaro has round speedo, 91 RS would have semi circular. Plus 86 is cable driven, 91 electro driven.

Right - I'm aware the FB got the electric speedo first - but the OP is dealing with a 91 RS which would be electronic and should use the same sending unit.... if not it's easy enough to use a converter to change the signal to whatever PPM (pulse per mile) you need for the 145 speedo head.......

Re: Gauges????

He said "Old Skool 145" (speedo). Im guessing thats pre 90, so its a round speedo, 91 uses a semi round/half moon style. Wont even fit on the cluster.
