Nordskog Gauges

Has anyone used the Nordskog digital gauges? I'm thinking about making the purchase and with future provisions in mind, will these be up to the accurate task? When these get wired up, I will be cutting into the wires when they go into the VSS. Now for the mods, I am going to be installing a T56 and than a choice between a built 350 or mild 427; RWHP 400-425 range.

I want to keep the stock look but with digital gauges. I want these to be as accurate as possible (more specifically the speedo and tach).

i had those, they work good 4 a bit. The problem i had is you have to use the cheapy stock OEM plastic circut board on the on the new gauges. My check engine lite wouldnt work because of the stock circut board went bad. I just put new autometer gauges they are awsome. just worried someone will steal them

You mean this:

The plastic housing and the electric strip or just the green strip?

Re: Nordskog Gauges

yup, thats wat im talking about. the plastic housing and the electric strip you keep. you just remove the old gauges and add the new gauges. all you get is just the guages, no housing or anything else.

How does the wiring work? Is there a pigtail on the back?

to me it looks like you get the whole thing
http://www.nordskogperformance.net/p...003-dp4005.htm
i may be wrong, but it looks like they ship you a panel pre wired and you pop it in.

When I do make the purchase, I will be sure to document it. I'm just trying to see if tbey would be accurate enough over stock needles.
