broken motor mounts??

I have a 86 camaro with a 2.8 v-6 and a 700r4 with 130k miles on both, last winter the brakes locked up in a turn and I ramped the car over a curb into a parking lot. I bent one steel rim bad and bent the other one to the point that it would not hold air, The Y Pipe was COMPLETLY ripped out and the front two tires where really messed up and the big cross member that the motor mounts too was really scraped up.

Then 6 mounths later I changed the oil and was half asleep and droped 12 quarts in OOPS and ran it for 10 min untill i figured out I really messed up and saw my dad chargeing at me with a two by four so I drained haf of it and regardless the engine was squickey clean on the inside and after I put oh say the stuff I own for college in the car I took it out for a spin and the car had NO acceleration and it has to rev up hard to do it at all and even in neutral the car has a bad vibration feeling comeing from the torque converter area and I still have no acceleration and I cleaned the plugs and it is still doing it. Could I have broken the motor mounts when I hit the curb?
Im sorry this post is so long.

Hey do you have ROH SNYPER wheels on your car or a different ROH wheel? If so could you post a pic? I am thinking about getting SNYPERS for my 86.

Sounds like you should worry about the motor before you start worrying about the rims...

If you had broken motor mounts, you'd know it when you start the car or rev it; the damn thing would flop all around in the engine bay.

I wont rev for anything or accelerate and the engine does move around a little more than normal but does not flop around LOL.

P.S. The rims are comeing after the engine

future engineer LOL . it sounds like you tweeked the engine/trans to rear end alignment. not good. some frame work maybe required as well as/or a new front crossmember. i'm willing to bet your problems are worse than a stumbling engine. a broken motor mount (almost always the drivers side breaks) will let the engine lift up when you rev it. you'll see it right away , it won't look normal. other than that, take the car to a body shop and have them check the sub frame.

The thing is that it went for over 6 mounths driveing perfectly fine but once i changed the oil and loaded it up all this started the next time I took it out for a drive. Could all of the extra weight mest up the damaged sub frame.

i have heard that camaros are netorious for torque converter and flex plate bolts backing out. that could explain your vibration. you could verify this by pulling the inspection cover.

no power? given your dukes of hazard driving last winter, check your cat. bang on it with your hand or a rubber hammer and listen for the sound of some thing rattling inside.

if you want to check to see if your drivers side mount is broken, do as GRENDLE says with this exception. have the hood up and put the car in gear. while HOLDING THE BRAKE, rev the engine. the torque from trying to make the car move will amplify the amount the engine tries to move as opposed to just reving it in neutral.
