Valve cover suggestion

I am getting my build put together and my tall edelbrock valve covers are about 1/16 of an inch from my AC heater box. Any suggestions for valve covers that will allow1.6 ratio roller rockers and give me some clearance?

Re: Valve cover suggestion

The type that are angled or rounded on the ends might clear?

For example some proforms, still I had to cut n weld mine but that was a C4 Corvette and it was the wiper motor. Guy who did it just flipped the corner he cut off and tig welded it back on.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Valve cover suggestion

Valve covers don't give a rip about rocker ratio. All that does is, add a few .001"s of clearance on the intake side.

Stock tin ones will usually work fine. Might have to bend the oil drippers a bit to clear the Poly-Locks.

If you don't mind spending $400+, PML has mid-height covers.

Re: Valve cover suggestion

I am running 1.6 arms under stock valve covers on my 92 z... Stock cam. Not full roller rockers though... Roller tip only.

Re: Valve cover suggestion
