this is my first motor build. i bought a 80s sbc 350 2 bolt main block and plan on using stock bottom end with speed pro H617CP dome pistons and 441 heads (3932441). i have a crane cam (cc-290-nc ay6445) that i can't find any info on. i was wondering it it would be good for my planned on setup. just need some advice thanks.

Why do you think it's a Crane cam to begin with?
Crane to my knowledge never used any numbers that started out "cc". Theirs were more usually a 6-digit #. That sounds more like a Comp Cams number. Might want to call them too.

Iunno...
That doesn't look like how I recall Crane marking their cams. That looks crude, almost like somebody in their garage with a stamp set and a hammer. I could be wRong of course, butt, doesn't look like a Crane cam to me. At least, not the "Crane" that's most familiar, maybe there's somebody else using that name too.
I did however, come across an old copy of Crane's catalog. https://www.cranecams.com.au/pdfs/20...atalog-v2B.pdf Maybe you can find something in there.
