I wanna get the MSD 8.5mm SC wires but...

I want to purchase the MSD 8.5mm wires, for my 89 IROC, but I don't see wires specifically made for my car??? When I look at the pricing for each car, I don't see mine mentioned. Which ones should I get? I sure as hell don't want to crimp them all and ****. Help me out, should I just call the d@mn MSD service? Thanks!

Get the ones specified for the TPI vette app. (same motor). Those are the ones i have and the fit and work just fine.

Crimping them isn't a hard job... it just sounds like a pain.

TomP is right, crimping them isn't hard at all. If you get some extra long wires, you can route them over the valve covers, and away from the manifolds.

I had issues with the p/n's that Summit was giving me, so I just called up MSD and specified what I wanted. Be sure to tell them if you want anlged or straight boots (in relationship to your manifolds/headers).

I had the same problem with my car when I ordered mine. Summit or Jegs can help you out. Be prepaired for a tight fit if you go with the ones made for your car. They are cut with little slack, I had to rig mine up a little on the driver side to keep them off the manifold.
