HELP!!! prestone leaking into oil...

I have a very big amount of prestone leaking inside the engine, mixing with the oil. I thought my heads were craked so I got them checked, the guy at the machine shop said they were ok... All the gaskets are new, intake has well. So I thought maybe my block might be cracked, so I changed my short block, all new gaskets, and its still leaking.

This is getting very depressing, I haven't ran my car for two years due to that problem, and the fact that I don't really have some cash and a place to work on my car..

What could it be??????????????

Nik

I had the same problem with my engine EXCEPT you said your head gaskets are new and mine were original still at 112,000 mi. I ran an additive called "bars leak" or something like that through the coolant and it patched my gaskets up. Sorry if I got your hopes up but that worked for me.

If the heads or the block deck are warped, it won't matter if the heads and block aren't cracked. The gaskets won't seal properly with warped heads or block decks and this will cause the problem you're having. Also, a cracked intake can cause this problem too.

Then your intake is possibly cracked.
