'85 Ta .vs. 00 Ta

A guy at my work wants to race me. He has a 2000 TA(no WS6) that is stock with manual with a ratchet shifter. He just got it and says he is going to stomp me. I don't think he will, but I just wanna make sure. I'll post you the result soon, as it will take place today or this weekend. My mods are in my sig.

it will be a close race, if hes a good driver and can get it to hook he will whack you, but if hes a kinda crappy driver or spins the tires you will probley take him out

It would be easy for me to say that the LS1 car will definetly win...but I wont.

Once thirdgens (or any car for that matter) have a motor that is different from stock its hard to guess at how they will do. I have seen many combos like yours done, some seem to perform very well, others not so well.

What I do know for sure is that the LS1 car should be somewhere in the mid 13 second range. My car (auto) went 13.6 stock, but every car seems to be slightly different.

Theres only one way to tell for sure...Line em up and see what happens! Let us know how things go!
