lol mark..my gauge broke too..

i have 2 gauges hooked up ...

one mechanical where the original sender was

the other sender feeding the indash gauge is by the heater hose...

my gauge was stuck that way too..it might just be ur sender...

(anotehr idea might be to maybe use it to read oil temp???
)
and ur car must definitely be able to go faster than that?

and by the way..what gear are u in and whats ur rpms

in my "D" in my v6 i go upto 109mph doing 5500RPMs

OD will kickback unless i install the b&m upshift sleeve

That 167 has got to be km/hr, and over 90% who did do that speed in mph on a backroad like that would be in the grave or eating through a straw

IT was in OD, when I had the tranny rebuilt I guess the guy made it so I can go WOT in OD. Yeah, I had more left in it, but it was around 4pm on an interstate and my car was JAMMED packed with my college stuff as I was on the way home for the year.

Not sure on the RPMs though didn't look.
