No contest, unless your car needs a tune-up and his in tip-top shape.

Tell your friend that just because he put flowmasters on and it sounds good that it can beat your Z. Well if yours is bone stock go get some exhaust work done and chip it. You already have the 350 block to do a rebuild and bore it to a 383. Your car has so much potential. When you race let him catch up then well give it some more gas. If only your ride were manual.

All I have to say is B4C, make sure his RS isn't one or you'll be in trouble.
Later, Garrett
p.s. odds are against it being a B4C, only 592 made in '91

As an Rs owner i would have to say your friend is an idiot. The 5.0 tbi cars are good everyday transportation with a bit of pep, but are not going to take on anything with some decent power. Good for emmbarassing ricers who only listen to the hp numbers and not the torque though. (they laugh when i say 170hp, which is fine, but don't even acknowledge the torque which ends up beating them into little tacky peices of plastic and chrome tips) You'll take him by a bit.

Take the opportunity of knowing beforehand that you will hand him his a**, and videotape the kill. Then you can post it.
