I just waxed one in my mom's Jeep. How slow are those things?

integras are EVERYWHERE now. its like all i can see are civics and integras. the GS-R's are kinds fast. mid 15s at best. the non VTEC integras have like 140 hp. my moms minivan would beat it....

I asked the kid in at my work who had track numbers on his Integra, and he said he went 16s and had traction. Likely excuse, I went 14.2 with no traction!!! When he saw my car, he said he didn't race Mustangs, even though I never challenged him or brought up us racing!!!

I hope the boost gauge he had was fake!!! No lie it had a boost and F/P gauge on the pillar!

14.2?! The fastest integra type R i've seen run here in tucson went a 14.5! And that was modded! I'm not sure about that.....that's crazy!

Maybe the 14.2 is bs cause i read it but the 14.4 is very true i saw it just imagine 200 hp and the things wieght in at 2700 I think some one double check prob even less. The one i saw u can say its stock but no bone stock cause he had no wing dont think he had a spare if he actualy took out his wing and also best of all he had no R badge . Got sleeper? Told me its was a type R and he was ganna start building it up and wanted to see wat he did stock.

I don't know, 14.2 seems a little quick. If you run it through Prestage.com with a 120lb driver and 15% drive train loss you get 14.73.

But he may just have had an awesome run.

Ok, now that everyone has talked some sh|t, here is some real information. How fast it is depends on what model it is. Like a Mustang, Integras had different models, some alot slower than others. The HP (TQ is generally ignored hahha) can range from 140 (LS) to 180 (GSR) or even 195 (Type-R). With boltons, the GSR's and Type-R's can be well into the low 14's. People modding the LS have brain damage. With a turbo kit, the GSR's and Type-R's are in the 13's, but still nowhere near your Stang Nic. The reason they dont run that fast is because when they run boost on a v-tec engine, the v-tec needs to be disabled, lowering the effeciency (and power output) of the engine. V-tec just dosnt work with boost .. so they're screwed. Its all FWD anyway so it gets no respect from me.

Integras are not primarily staright-line performers, they were designed to have great chassis dynamics and handling characteristics. Integras are consistently good performers on the road course circuit, and handling responds VERY well to even minor chassis mods. There are many Integras out there that would give many a thirdgen a run for it's money on the twisties even though it would lose an acceleration contest with it. I'm not necessarily defending them, just pointing out that there are other measures of performance than acceleration.

last week I raced a manual Acura RSX tpye S and handed his *** to him by a cars length, I even had a passenger in the car! Funny thing was my best uncorrected run is 15.5 and he said he ran low 14's

After that I tried to race an integra GSR and he said, "Hell no, why dont you race some faster cars..."

I tried to race another RSX type S and he backed down as well, I asked both RSX's what mods they had & they said "intake and exaust..." damn rice.

Highlight of the night was when they asked me what I had, and said, "mildly modded, pretty peppy for a 180,000 mile engine," that really hurt thier feelings LOL.

bottom line, there slow stock, although the integra had "a header" on it, and a nice intake and exaust, and he still backed ddown.

I have only seen one yellow Type R run, and at LVD he went 15.1. The car had an exhaust, but that was it. It was yellow but the hood was black and it was lowered! I saw an RSX Type S run once and he went 15.6x on a 15.60 dial!

At other tracks, in other conditiond, maybe. But where I race, no way low 14s, maybe high 14s at best!!! I want to run my car through that site, I will after post this!!!

yea I really think the 14.2 is bs but the 14.4 I say isnt trust me maybe the guy was modded but I saw it and also look at where I live and look where you guys live ... got elevation?

a friend of mine bought a brand new Type R in 2000. ran it 100% bone stock and came up with a best time of 14.7. i forget the mph, but thats not bad for a 4cyl

I got a story of my own, i used to own a 1989 T/A 305 TBI Daytona cowl induction hood, k&n stock replacement filter, dynomax intrmd pipe+muffler (sounded mean but too quiet to be noticed from a distance it was black, and the I-ROC 16 inch rims, anywho i was driving homeone day from highschool (somerset county vo-tech) and i saw this integra (bodykit, fart muffler, and cold airintake and a 2000 paint job) we were boith at a light and the lane 1/4 mile down it merges into one lane, I stoped next to him hoping to show him a thing or two about never reving to a v-8
as the tinted window rolled down i saw the kid and it turns out he was a kid i knew from 6th grade he smiled and said he was about to dust my *** i smiled back and said i gotta see this then, the light on the other side turned yellow, i brake tourqued it to 2grand, his car looked like it was standing still, he left my rear view mirror as i merged, then i see him come up doing around 65 trying to illegaly pass me on the right (typical ***** fly by) however he didnt see that i had slowed down for a lexus in front, he poped his clutch and locked up his tires, as the road turned of course his car didn't he flew up on the grass and hit a utility box from PSE&G and it landed upside down all in all it served him right to know that its cool to fool around but to know when to call it quits Then a cop who wasnt even there tried slaping me ait a wreklace driving ticket which i got out of, but the insurance found out and it was too much to keep the car, but im in the process of finding a formula 350 to really spank him because i foud out his momy bought him another one and put another body kit on to weigh his car down more and anther fart muffler to make it sound abnoxious like they all sound but i wanted to let you guys know that im a F-body fan forever and i will be back

okay steve first off the light to the curve by the begal smith is not even close to a 1/4 mile its less then a 1/8 mile second his integra wasnt stick. his first one was auto and the intgera is stick.

alright alright but either way even with how bad my cars tranny was along with everything else, i still kicked his *** because MOST of the time when you see an import that has a body kit and "looks fast" they usually arent the kids who get them have a mechanic install there **** they dont know **** about there cars all they know is that they saw fast and the furious and a supra can beat a ferarri, come on now this is a ****ing movie 3.0L turbo or a 12cyl hand made italian super car you do the math

actually the supra racing the ferrie was a 9 second supra. i think it was on the web and they barrowed that car and a few other fast as hell cars like the skyline. but the supra at that race seen did and really could kill that ferrie or how ever u spell it.

didnt see this post but you are so ****ing right the other day i was looking at some car sight and there was a crx it ask for its top speed and the ****er puts 265. i was like this guy is smokin the good ****, then i look at moe pics and his tachometer goes up to 265, so cause its tach says 265 the car goes 265. i couldnt believe how stupid someone that has a car could be about there own car ... my cars tach goes up to 155 my **** wont hit 145 w/o a drop and some better aero dynamics(dont want to say body kit cuz not really true ) ... ey rockhound you relly love forumpix huh? lol

my friend at work has a completly stock 1997 Integra. i think its a "LS" not sure. all i know is that its not the VTEC or the Type S. its a 4cylinder engine and he was running 16.4's all day long while i was running 16.8s.
