racing emergency vehicles
Tues night, on the way hoem from midnight bowling in the berlinetta, i got blown off by an ambulance with no light s or siren goin gwhen i was doing 35 in a 30. Pulled alongside at the light, and on green, he chirped 'em! So i commence to blow his doors off, and after i let off, he blows right by. Next light, he stalls up the converter, so i hear the diesel a roarin, and i'm already laughin my a$$ off. Light turns green, i give him the head start and blow by, turn onto my street, and try to call anyone to share my laughs with.
Anything like this ever happen to anyone?? Post your stories about ambulances, public works vehicles, cop cars, and whatnot.

yeah, i really wouldnt race emergency vehicles. though my friend and i did follow an ambulance once, passing cars and everything, just to say we did...wouldnt recommend it though..
Real smart......I would never race an emergency vehicle....even if he WAS revving....up in Denver a couple of years back, this guy cut off an ambulance on it's way to a scene, and the ambulance ended up jumping a curb and running down a woman in front of a church, killing her. The driver of the ambulance ended up quitting his job due to the emotional trauma. Now, the guy wasn't racing the ambulance, but that's the kind of thing that could happen. Racing/tailgating an emergency vehicle has to be one of the stupidest things you can do on the road.
