My Car The Sleeper grabs its first kill today!!!

Ok for those of you who dont know me my name is Jay....I owned a 1986 Camaro SC but sold it for economic reasons....but i purchased an 88 Beretta off of my girls dad....this thing barely passed inspection (driver side door all screwed up and dented). But i bought it for 250 dollars....sweet....today i was driving along in the Beretta and a CRX and a Civic DX (hatchback with type R badges) are tail gating me....so i switch lanes thinking nothing of it....typical ***** pack....well they started to follow me for no reason (i guess because the stock exhaust is pretty loud HOsix beretta GT) and we come to a two lane road...the Crx pulls next to me and blows his fart pipe cannon...lol...i start laughing at him and he seem pissed...anyway light turns green he guns it...as well as i....well off the line i blew him away and continued to blow him away all the way up to 60....so i let off proving my point...and was about to slow down to the speed limit (50mph) well at the next red light the CRX's window rolled down and he screams out the window "CANT **** WITH THE TOP END YO".....i start laughing my *** off and give him the good old fashioned Thumbs down...light turns green and blow him away leaving him at the start and get all the way down the street pull in for gas and hes like...YO I DIDNT EVEN GET ON IT THE SECOND TIME YO...so i said sure and your fart pipe was just screaming because it felt like it..laughed it off gassed up gave him the thumbs down and continued cruising...his buddy in the Hatchback was laughing at him in the gas station because he knew he got beat bad....lol...another day in the world of Street RICING...lol...damn ricers....

damn ricers

yeah i killed ricers all the time with my SC but never felt the need
to post them because then my fingers would fall off from typing so much....yeah i never thought that a beretta would have such a good amount of kick....i didnt even try to launch against the ricers.....if i did it woulve been over from the start...it still was but oh well i dont know....i dont know if work was done to the beretta but i keep up with the early model six cyl stangs and firebirds/camaros (6).....but its pretty frikkin fast for a six....gotta hand it to chevy with their HO motors...if only the exhaust wasnt so loud for stock..oh well ill just keep them ricers in check with a beretta so they leave the fbodies alone so you can post about the real races, later dudes ------Jay----------

Can anybody here validate this? I heard a while ago that back in the late 80's/early 90's the Camaro was going to become the Beretta, and Ford had plans to ax the Stang and use the Probe as it's new performance car.

I really dont think Ford will or ever thought about taking there hoarsy out of production, exspecially with the loss of alot of competition, but who knows, all i can say is i really dont think so.

That part is true. The '89 Probe almost became the 4th Gen Mustang. It was planned back in 1984 due to low sales. Ford planned a new FWD car to become the next Mustang and it almost happened until sale of the 5.0 picked up in 1987 and 1988 and shot through the roof. People complained that the stang was gonna be axed right when it was hitting a peak so the new Mustang was renamed the Probe and ford set off designing the 4th Gen stang as we know it today.

i know a couple of girls that have them. one of them, whenever she comes to my house, i can hear her from like a mile away.

she's always surprised when i'm standing at the door when she pulls into the driveway. "how did you know i was here"......

they are pretty quick though
