can a 98 Integra beat me??

My friends want me to race a guy with a 98 Integra with a stock V-Tech engine, it is a 5spd. My car is a 1986 Trans Am WS6 with a recently put in 350 TPI with a mild cam and MagnaFlow exhaust with Hight Flow converter. I have a posi with limited slip rearend and a 700R4 auto transmition. I should be able to bear him right? This will actually be my first race (since im only 16 and just got my car running 2 months ago). What do u guys think?

350tpi

are you using a tpi setup from a 305? if so, did you change the injectors? if so, youll make him cry. if you didnt change the injectors you might not do as well as you could, but you'll probably still beat him.

I raced a modded out GSR...beat him senseless and i drove probabaly the worst race of my life...those cars sound and look scary if there real modded out...but there slow becuase of there huge lack of low end torque, and torque in general, dont worry about him...just race him with out tearing up the tires of the line and you will hand him his ***.

Yes it is the old TPI setup but with 21lb fuel injectors. Thats what i was told is the stock injectors size then i found out it might be 22lb? I'll keep you posted on how i do. Im meetin up with him in a few min to race.

Best i've seen a gsr do stock is a 15.7. That is with a good driver.. Expect him to be in the 16's.. You should be able to EASILY take him. Race him from a stop and you will murder him if you don't spin like mad.

Well...... I WON!!!!!!! He didn't stand a chance! we raced from a start getting on the freeway, i had him the whole time just putting more and more distance between us as we went on. I shut it off at around 90-95MPH. After that i saw him today at school and he wouldn't even talk to me except say "F*** you or Shut up" lol. By the way what do you think i should run in the quarter mile? check sig for mods. I also have a posi and limited slip with new Fulda Extremo tires, 180* thermo (not the 195* like i thought i had), with the 700R4 tranny.
