My friends got a 90 Formula with a 350 TPI i helped him with. He's got a 700R4 w/ shift kit, air foil, K&N, TES headers, Flowmaster muffler. He will be making a custom CAI. He wants to race me. I know I will win but I just wanan know what you guys think he might run in the quarter. Thanks.

 

What gear ratio is he running?

Don't you think 3.73:1 is way to low of a gear to be running with a L98?

If you can get traction off the line you should beat him from light to light, but (even with your runners and ported plenum)your l98 has got to run out breath with 3.73s, dosen't it?

 

Probably a low 14 depending on gearing and traction. What makes you so sure you can beat him?

 

I've been ok with them. I'm a light to light guy anyway.

Well, you've got similar mods to what I have. So you might run about what I do. Your 3.73's are a little much for an LTR car though.

"Stock", I ran 14.5@93 on 2.77's with k&ns and a gutted airbox.
