This moron at school has an older vette like a 76 or something like that...he has a V8 maybe a 305 or a 350, dual flowmaster mufflers and thats about it as far as I know...it sounds loud due to the fact that he has the flows cut off.....well I can tell he is a moron because he says that when his Fuel needle is on F and he punches it, that it goes to E....and he wastes a whole tank in one run!!! LOL man that was the funniest thing I heard...he says that my "GEE-TEA-AYE", as he calls it, is slow and that he doesn't want to waste his gas on me, but its funny how one night I was next to him going 45MPH neck and neck and he wouldn't do a damn thing! Well when I get my car back Wednesday from getting a gasket done and getting the fans hooked up direct...I am gonna show him the bute torque and power of my "GEE-TEA-AYE". Well until then I am gonna let him and his other dumb buddy with a White 95 Mustang GT Convertible AOD ponder as to how bad I am gonna kick their butts in a race.....AARON

p.s. oh and about my traction problems....I am taking a pair of slicks to school on Wednesday or Thursday.....:lala:

youll crush him, those vettes have around 200hp stock, it weights a bit less though but you should easily take him, my dad has a 81 vette with a 4 speed manual and he cant beat my 89 rs auto

 

I was able to kill my mom's 69 vette vert with a 72 350 in it and performer intake, with super turbo mufflers on it. This thing has a 4 speed and 3.73's or 3.90's in the back, and I can hold with it until 40 (this thing will rip out of the hole) and my father was powershifting (mom doesnt know) the thing (I love how he never lets me win) and I pulled very hard after 40 mph and wouldve smashed the back I was going so much faster around 60 mph. Your as fast or faster than me, and the vette is probably slower than my moms vette (the one youll race has got an auto and probably highway gears). Will be embarrassing for him. Go for it. If he talks smack, he deserves to get his keister handed to him.

 

He must think he has a top fuel dragster to use up that much gas. ha, no way he'll ever take your GTA, have fun kikkin his a**.

hmmm, i had a friend who raced his 81 when it was bone stock (and it was an auto too) and he got consistant low 15s at 90 mph. im assuming your RS either has some mods, or your dad cant drive

 

Who keeps a old carbed 350 stock, especially in a Vette that old that has probably been rebuilt? Wouldn't suprise if he is actually making decent power...

 

well I saw the Vette run toda and got some inside info...like the saying goes, keep your friends close, but your opponents closer...., its a 79 with a 350 and flowmaster mufflers, thats it, it has been repaired countless times and is an old tired motor. this is how smart the kid is....to burn tire, he can't floor it and spin em...he...are you ready for this....NEUTRAL DROPS IT!!!!....man he is like a domestic ***** and he has a Vette out of all cars!!!! well the GTA is getting the tranny oil leak and engine oil pressure sending unit replaced...when I get it back it will have all synthetic oil and B&M Trick Shift in the tranny, new plugs will also be added....so when I get it back...the *** kicking will commence Friday!!!.....AARON

 

to tpivette89, my car only has a edelbrock open element and full 3 inch flowmaster exhaust, my dads vette has the original 350, no rebuild on it but i believe it is out of tune because it doesnt seem right that i am beating him
