well today in town i was going to jack in the box, sitting first in line at the light when i hear some subs going, next to me a ES 300 pulls up, i look over and smile and give him a thumbs up for the nice sounding stero he points ahead and i nod,

light goes green and i dump the clutch, and are dead even. hit second and i start to pull a little, miss shift third, get it into third and start to gain what i lost, throw it into neutral and coast he keeps going gets infront of me to turn right.

mind you this is a 94' mazda B3000 3.0l 5sp. ext cab.

 

Nice run. Some guy in an older lexus tried that with me tonight on Henry Ave heading north in Philly. He had yellow foglights and a bad attitude. My tranny shifts into OD alot really early (like 40 mph ) and so it did that today with him next to me. So I dropped it back into D and i guess he thought we were racing so he punched, and I followed. I was right on his tail after getting around some traffic and then I had to keep braking so I wouldn't hit him I finally past him, got the finger, and then had the yelling in my ear from my girlfriend stop. So before this gets locked, good kill in the pickup squeeks.

I have (not for much longer) an 86 B2000 and it's a dog, it's gotta be the slowest thing I've ever driven.. the 94 B3000s must be 09873981723 times faster

funny you should say that, i had one fo those until 1-6-03, i wrecked it hitting a still light pole, doing 30mph, it was a 4cyl 5sp, nice lil ol truck but now it lays to rest and we have a new baby.
