well thats the title... whaddya think?
i've lost to him before, back with my 2.8L, but i hung in for awhile, then my engine just would stop breathing, and any car next to me or ahead of me would beat me for sure.
What about now? i dunno whats the numbers on those cars.

Well its automatic, and all it has is cold air intake... nothing more...
the driver just peddels nothing more, no tricks.
but mid 15 or high 15s doesn't matter, i'm not there yet...
i believe i'm like low 16s

Yes a stick with a decent driver is a mid to low 15 second car, but a auto should be high 15s low 16s! With the CAI (although it does almost nothing) lets say high 15s! I think it would be a good race!

I raced one in my 1998 Sunbird turbo GT 2.0l
and totally slaughtered him.
Depends on how good he can drive.
Rofl the day I raced the mustang, was the 2nd day I got my car. 2nd day driving stick. I learn fast.

It was *newer*.
I spun through first and half of seccond lol.
I still had him.
Car N' Driver tested a 1988 Sunbird Turbo @ 15.4 1/4
After I mod a bit I'll go to the track.
I plan on:
Front Mount Intercooler
Manual Boost Controller
Street legal drags(maybe) on the front.. haha that's gonna look funny.
Blow off Valve
Run at 15 PSI and I should be low 14's, High 13's....
Thats not even much cash at all either..
FMIC is like $300
Boost controller is $50
BOV is $100
And highest octane I can find.

Pre-99s made like 140 or 150 hp. The 99 and newers made I believe 190hp. I don't see you beating the 99+ but who knows...
