i think the tbi would win if its a 5 speed and the fourth gen v6 was an auto. the tbi would have a slight better chance also from a stop light.

I think the TBI would edge it out.

From experience of driving a 94 3.4 5 speed everyday with minor bolt ons and gears, and owning a 305TBI RS for a weekend car (soon to be 350)..

I'm sorry man, you're going to get your *** kicked. Before my #2 piston ring blew, my g/f and I went out on a country road after debating on who would win and she said hers would just because its "prettier." We lined up side by side, 3 honks and it was on. She spun the tires pretty good and I got a decent launch then I head the tires chirp going into second from her, then 3rd gear and then I heard the **** sound of her 80 series go by me at WOT.

Ohh yeah, DON'T EVEN THINK you can try a 3800 Series II, especially the 99 and up ones with the straight throttle body. I've had my *** HANDED to me BIG time by a 97 3.8 II and 2002 3.8 II w/y87 package. The 97 was modded and had gears, he left me at the light like I stalled out.

:hail: 3800 Series II:hail:
