85 trans am vs 03 eclipse gt ?

a kid at work wants to race me . his car has a kn filter and thats it, My 85 ta has a ram air hood that is functional bc i have the kn kit, tb bypass ,160 thermo and hypertech chip. i have 3.23 and the stock engine. Will i win or not?

what is your car? 305tpi? youll get him off the line but keep your foot in it cause the gt is a good top-ender.

well i hopefully added more insurance to the mix, i took the spare out and the jack , ill never use them , and i also took out the back seats . at 9 its on .

Good luck, if you got a 5 spd, I would bet on you if he has a automatic. Anyway, you GOT HIM off the line unless you stall or spin like hell.

yeah good luck man you should have him with no trouble off the line. I raced my friend he has a 1999 turbo eclipse with front wheel drive automatic and i held about 5-6 car lengths on him till we hit 80 mph and i blew a header gasket and let off. my mods are in my signature. later

i beat one with a 305 TBI/700r4 with exhaust k&n and chip. he had a manual too. they arent very quick. we were even through first gear then he shifted and i was gone. that was a fun race too, all the street machines were in town and there was lots of people watchin from the side of the road.
