The winner is the one who has their setup tuned the best. I know plenty of properly tuned LT1 cammed LO3's that will work over a similarly equiped 350TBI with a bad tune or no tune at all. By tune I mean burns their own chips correctly.

I woud not be to cocky. Some built 350 TBI's run 15's when they could be low 13's. Tuning a TBI system is the key. You can shave seconds off of built TBI system when going to a custom tune. I have seen heads and cammed TBI cars/trucks run slower than stock because of a poor tune.

Did you send him datalog info or just tell him what you had. Any off the shelf stage # chip is a stab in the dark and can only be a rough geuss. I strongly recomend staying away any stage 1 or stage 2 chip.

i told him what i have, i'm rebuilding the motor myself so i know every single thing going in this motor, i've talked to him for a few months now about stuff and he seems to know his stuff. he has built a chip like the one i need for himself so i'm sure it's going to be fine. he's been telling me everything to get for my car.
