I have....still the same. Guy here at the speed shop was intrigued at my LT1 shop, he has never even seen a swap guide and did the LS1 swap all himself. He has a 3400 stall on the 4L60E, runs 11.6 on slicks and it still feels like nadda down low. Face it, until a cam is thrown in, its still just a top end motor.

You think a 1.67 60ft time and 0-60 in 4.5 seconds is no bottom end
My IROC which is supossed to be a low-end torque motor does around 6 flat 0-60 ......what's that considered then?
Anyway, a cam helps more in the mid-top end, that's why you need a stall for anything above a "small" cam.

Maybee your launch technique wasn't as good as your first....
From the way you said it, you seemed to find a working solution even though you weren't power braking. Once you tried the ol' launch, it didn't work out as well.
Also, you really have no idea what was going on under the hood of the vette.
As for mustangs...yes, there are a lot of dorks who think they are fast and make fools of themselfs, but there are always a couple people in every city who have a stang that is fast enough. Those are the people that every maustang racer wants to be like, but they just can't figure out how to drive or mod thier cars.

Just a few more kill updates since last time:
350Z - guy at work wanted to run me - owned him
new Ram Hemi - owned him - what was he thinking really?
S2000 - not so much owned - but still won by about 2 lengths I am estimating
This LS1 is great. I've only had it a week, and only 1 loss.
:hail: LS1
