87 T/A vs early 90s thunder bird

Well I got off work at 7 am and was sitting at the stop light and and early 90s t-bird turned the corner going in the opposite direction as I was going. The driver was one of those guys who drives sitting so low that I could only see his head popping up over the door, anyways he stared me down all the way by.Well the light turned green and I went, about a mile down the road I see that he had turned around and was flying up on me.I was cruising at about 35.I wasn't really in the racing mood being that I just got off work and wanted to get home and sleep. He gets up next to me and starts flooring it and slowing down over and over again finally after about 4 times of him doing that I said screw it ,so I waited until he floored it again and as soon as he did I floored it immediatly pulling about 5 to 6 car lengths on him.I hit about 75 and slowed back down to 35.Needless to say he stayed waaaay back there the rest of the way through town.It was pretty funny. Not an awsome kill but a kill none the less.

My brother has a SC, not nearly as fast as most people think because they are so heavy, good kill!

Supercoupes are blown V6s and are faster than the V8 models.

sounds like fun. Most of them old tbirds are slow. I had an 88 with the 3.8v6 for my first car and I would get beat by soccer moms in minivans. Oh and they quit making the 2.3 turbos in 88 and replaced it with the blown 3.8 for the SC. The V8 was the 5.0 until 94ish when they gave it the 4.6sohc. But theyre all really too heavy to be competitive.

an early 90's SC thunderbird with a 5 speed can be one quick car if the owner has half a brain. My brother had one with a blower pulley upgrade, chip, and some other crap and it was actually pretty fast, not to mention the blower whistle was cool as hell, and it had all the amenities of a luxury car.
