ok guys i had to share this stiry with you because this race was just intense. i wish i had a camcorder at the time because this 3rd gen was insane. ok so anywasy im cruising the rads where everyone races at and i see this bright yellow 3rd gen camaro pating the gas beside this 4th gen firebird then the light ahead turns red and i hear people on the side of the road screaming "its happening right here baby" i smiled because i knew the bird was as good as dead by the the camaro barked when he patted the gas but to make a long story short the light turned green the camaro let the firebird pull ahead a little bit then tromped the gas around 35mph and fistailed it through 2nd and 3rd and by that tiem it had about 3 buslenghts on the bird.

defently a race ill remember just wish i had a camcorder to catch it. also the camaro blew out black smoke when he tromped on the gas why would this be?

 

holy ****.. that sounds crazy man, id love to see a 3rd gen around my area atleast once a year do something like that cause i never even see a 3rd gen around here thats not stock besides mine.Black smoke? huh thats weird, like a deisel? lol i dont kno

 

yea its odd it blew out black smoke just like a deisel. i doubt that something on that car isnt running right causing it to so that cuz that thing was just too quick to have any problems with it lol

 

well if it was just a little black smoke it was probably just his carb going rich when he hit it but if it was like diesel cause it was so much and so black i couldnt explain that.

 

Its not uncommon for black smoke to come out of the exhaust at wide open throttle, the car is just running rich from all the fuel being dumped in.

 

yea mine does do it also.. not close to what hes runnin i bet but its still a motor : )

 

that or timing but id say to rich needs to step downt he jets

yes it was very sweet and now im taking my camcorder every tiem i leave the house so i can catch that car on camera im going to try talking to him sometime to see what hes got and see if he will do some cool stuff so i can get it on video to show you fellow 3rd genners

 

YEAH do that 84 that would be the greatest for all of us... sounds like one badass camaro : )

 

sounds like botlfeds car. It is a turbo motor and will put out black smoke. he is in canada im not sure where you are from 84.?

 

It's probably the injectors leaking..like in the Duramaxes
