"Ford atleast they've circled the problem"
awsome kill always great to see a stang go down.
the only thing that hondas are good for is the gas mileage and to beat the hell out of. my gf has a 99 civic and its slow as **** cause the "Power Band" doesnt kick in till like 4500Rpm then still it is slow as ****. we were doin speed runs on this one guys road i know its about 1/4mile or so and my friend and i were hitting about 100 to 110 through there in our 3rd gens and we hit like 85 90 in the civic and it felt like it was gona explode but the only cool thig about it is for some reason there is a stall in it whick i abuse so bad. and she is still convinced that that car will kill my T/A HAHAHAHA but i have to be nice it is my gf

Some slow cars around you... I dont even screw around in my area.

As far as the original poster, what kind of mods do you have. An 03 obra or vette isnt something easy to take care of, neither is a Stage 3 Roush. All low 13s cars with average drivers!

04 Cobras arnt what people make them out to be i raced one in my nova and it was pretty quick the story goes... I was at a light and he was reving at me but wouldnt pull closer than my quater pannel light goes green he stomps it and i wait till he gets to my nose to hit it. i smash the gas and take off now and boy oh bot that ****in cobra killed me outa the hole! through first he put a car on me but in second i reeled him in and when i was at his door i smashed into third and looked over smileing while i was pulling waved and screamed "BYE BYE" and continued to pull him till about 120 when i had him by about 3 cars he pulled up and told me all of these mods andi jsut laughed and said "your gona need more than that next time" we both pulled into a gas station shook hands and i got some 100 leaded and went home... fun stuf

OK what mods on your Nova, you cant post a story like that without a mod list. A Cobra with just exhaust is a 420 rwhp car... Add a pulley and tires and you have a deep 11s car!

I went to Californa years ago to some old timey gas station and they octane all the way up to 105, but anything over 98 (i think) you had to pour in a container then pour in your car and that stuff was over $4.00 a gallon back when gas 1.25

First i got 100 leaded at sunoco for 3.99 a gallon and heres the novas mod list
350 Block bored 30 over with a forged 383 kit
High volume oilpump and moroso oil pan
Earson cam with dual .600 lift cam
Gm Fuelie heads milled to a 62cc combustion chamber and ported as far as they could go with a 2.02/1.60 with a 10:1 comp ratio
Holley 750 double pumper on a performer rpm
Hooker supercomps into true dual 40's before the rearend
Tubro 350 that was racebuilt with a 4500 stall converter
12 bolt rear with 3.73's
Tractions bars new springs tuned suspenion
295/50 drag radials out back
4inch tires up front
Still think some moded 04 cobra can own me?
By the way he had a tune, pulley, fullexaust and highflow airfilter... guess that "easy 420 rwhp" just wasnt enough

Guess they werent anough to take a built 383. Sucks for the Cobra owner, but he is just a smaller pulley away from running with you! Nice Kill!

I didnt catch any attitude off your post... just wanted some specs. Seems a lot of slow cars are beating a lot of cars they shouldnt. Now that you listed some specs more than a stock 350, I believe it! I always ask for the whole story!

rousch stage 3 are rated at 375 hp or somewhere close to that.
Cobra's are 390hp but its said they are closer to 420 on motor. Assuming 15% loss, thats 357hp at wheels. So tell me again how that exhaust will add 60+ hp at the wheels? Are they running 2 inch pipes and 1 inch primary headers? LOL, please educate me mustang gurus. Exhaust adds 70hp total on motor?, damn mustangs just love mods.
