Grudge Match!!

I have challenged my friend to a 1/4 mile race. He has a 1985 Monte Carlo SS, L69, 3.73's. I have a 90 T/A, LB9, auto, 2.73's. Both our cars are completely stock. I think he'll get me off the line but I think I'll end up taking it on the top end. Think so?

He is running high 15's stock. You are most likely running 14.9-15.2. No contest

14.9-15.2 with and LB9 and 2.73's? Hows that gonna happen? Ive had LB9 cars. With an auto and those gears, id expect high 15's at best.

You should win providing proper driving and launching, no weak granny 5 second shifting and easy launches.

The Monte makes about the same HP or a few less than you...its a few 100 lbs heaver and has even more Drivetrian loss than you because he has an auto. You should win this one easily.

The reason he gets you in the 60 is because he has 3.73's over your crap 2.73's......
