gtp kills thirdgen

I'm cruising down north ave and I spot a tbi maro with exhaust anyways, I cruise up a long side of him he looks over and nails it and gets the jump so I nail it.. get a skip shift to 1st spin a little and proceed to put about four cars on him almost instantly I think he shut down as soon as he heard the downshift

Any new GTP should work over an LO3 car. Nice kill

yeah, those GTPs are really nice cars, I have a few friends with some pretty nice Grand Prixs. The LO3 is no match for a GTP, but my RS doesn't have any problems with the regular 210 hp GT's.

Yeah, with those mods you should be low 14's easy. No match for an LO3!

My buddy has a heavily modified L67 (Heads/Cam/Ported Blower/3" pulley..etc). We raced at the track, and I did GREAT until after the 1/8 mile, then he walked me like I was not moving.

Only car willing to play was a 3.5L Altima from a low roll, no need to say what the outcome was

Wouldn't exactly call my car fast, hasn't seemed to be running 100% to where it should be yet, but I may have fixed that tonight when I fixed a manifold exhaust leak. There's quite a few quick cars around here, just not many out now with winter here. I bought this car as my winter car

Shouldn't the race with that Altima have been pretty close though?

Spare tire delete? This is only at the track, right?

I didn't say the Altima hung...I was just saying that was the ONLY car that was out that night. Nothing bragging or anything.

'98 Z was an impulse buy...actually spent the leftover school money on it after I dropped out and decided to change majors.

Mid 14s was back with my tuned-port 305. Didn't get a chance to get a good run in at the track with the LT1 305ci before it blew up mid-way through second pass, and I haven't gotten to the track with the 355 LT1 in the bird yet. Needs a non-slipping transmission and dyno tune.

Spare tire delete? Nobody mentioned that, but no, my TA does not have a spare tire. It has run-flat tires though. LS1's only weight reduction is the removal of the AIR system.

No need to have the spare tire in the car anyway since they are like 20 years old, and they are really small, and the inflation canister is prob dead
