Racing a Jeep
Yeah, I know I shouldn't be surprised at the outcome of this race. A guy at work with a 96 Jeep Cherokee with a straight 6 has challenged me. Apperently he's raced a couple civics and focuses and thinks his car is fast. We left work at the same time one night and I'm still breaking my engine in so I was driving conservativly and he flys by me. The next day he says, "like how I blew by you last night?" I just laughed. Im gonna be racing him with the GTA.

You be suprised about some the Jeeps. I own a 04 Wrangler with the 4.0. Off the line thing is pretty quick. Let me say it would deff own any LG4/L03 or V6 third gen for a street race. It would be a good race with a peanut cam Lb9. The 5 speed lb9/L98 will murder it though. Why am i talking about Jeeps in this Forum anyways

It can be a good race for a early peanut cammed 305. TBI or TPI, especially if it has some basic bolt on's. A wrangler should take down most RS cars.

Lol our stock 95 Jeep Cherokee... I could definately smoke my Monte SS with L69.
Inline 6's are really quick I have to admit... My new Trans Am could probobly beat it tho...(77 4 bolt main 350) Our 2000 Silverado would just smoke it tho... It will smoke anything.

The Duramax just needs a fuel box to be a potential mid high 14 second truck...
